How do we collect your data and what data do we collect?
You directly provide GPS247 with most of the data collected. We collect data and process data when you:
Fill up the contact form:
Name, email address, telephone number, subject and content of your request. The subject and the content depend on what you enter.
Add item in your shopping cart and process your order:
Name, delivery address, billing address, telephone number, optional order note with your comments, optional newsletter opt-in, the product(s) added in your cart.
Register for our Newsletter:
Your name and email address to opt-in our newsletter.
Data collected by third party during the order process:
Online payment is made through Global payment on their secure website. We do not have access to your payment detail (Credit/debit card number). Global payment provides us with a transaction authorisation for your order or failed payment status.
How do we store your data?
GPS247 securely stores your data on its secure server (“your account” area on the website) and internally to provide customers with support and respect their warranty rights (Name, address, date of order, product type and quantity).
Our Company will keep your order detail for six years (as required for accounting and tax purpose). Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data from our storage.
How will we use your data?
GPS247 collects your data so that it can:
Process your order and manage your account.
Email you with order and/or delivery update.
Email you before the end of a subscription period.
Email you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like (only when you decide to opt-in the Newsletter).
We pass your delivery details to our shipping partners to deliver your order.
When you subscribe to our Newsletter, GPS247 will send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like. Our Newsletter is managed through Mailchimp.
If you have registered to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.
You have the right at any time to stop GPS247 from contacting you for marketing
Third party websites:
To operate, some of our products need an account on a third party website. We create the account with a user name and a password. We do not pass personal details to these third party websites.
